Alice sweet Alice

Did anyone catch the scream awards last night? There was a preview for Alice in Wonderland! Seriously, March, do I have the patience to wait that long? Well, at least there are other good movies coming out - Twilight II, Wolfman. In the meantime I am hardcore into vampire diaries.

Cheers!

Has it been that long...

My my how time flies when your crafting cards! All I have are four to show tonight. These are Halloween cards for my two nephew's and two nieces (ages almost 7, five and a half, almost 4, and just two). It was a bit of a challenge trying to figure out age appropriate card decorations (I have no personal/current frame of reference). Most all the cards have some form of 3D on them. All of them start with an AC cardstock prefolded 5x7 base. Let's see if I can get the specs written by each pic... Probably best accomplished in individual posts.

All dressed up and a blogspot to go....

Here is the Misses. She is all duded up in her best along with her dearest companion. This is a card for the farm fresh Friday challenge over at the greeting farm. The challenge was to use embossing. I opted to use traditional embossing powder. I stamped a flourish multiple times in the center and sprinkled black and silver embossing powder. Her pearls have liquid applique - you may have to take my word on it as it could be hard to see in the picture. I added some of her personal 'wallpaper' to the right side of the card so she could have a little slice of home! It is getting to be October which means Halloween is near. One of my favorite times of the year! Also, it is what 2 months away from the new Twilight movie! Unfortunately for me no more True Blood until June! What is a vamp fan to do with all her free time?

Cheers!

Rocked the farm...

...and fell to pieces.

Sorry I've been away so long. I was in a friend's wedding and helping her plan took a lot more time than originally planned.

This card was based on a sketch challenge for the farm fresh Friday challenge at the Greeting Farm. I still have a long way to go to compete as you can tell!

Cheers!

Birthday card for the Anyaversary

While it is not the cheeriest, it is a birthday card just the same. I had family members with Halloween birthdays and mine is just a week after so I guess I gravitate to that theme. Plus True Blood was on so that could also explain the theme.... I am sure we all recognize the Edward stamp. I added some vintage photo stain to the edges, the coloring was done with copics although it was a while ago so I really don't recall the specific colors - my apologies. The background paper is TGF as well! Can't wait to see everyone's work in the morning. Happy Hopping!
